Hi,
I've used both, the telrad is heavier and larger than the rigel. The rigel
is taller as it stands up. The telrad is long and fat. The base of the
rigel just clips into a plastic frame that does allow everything to move if
bumped (and fall out) so I pack it away after use. I cannot remember how
the telrad is fixed. The method of use is the same and I did not find one
better than the other, ie. they both perform well.
I use the rigel because its cheaper. I would love one of those green laser
pointers, Why? cos they look so cool. Just my 2c worth

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.
