 I have his own words in his own newspaper. He has shown 12 years
 active duty. He was in the service in 1976, out in 1978, back in
 in 1982, and out in 1992. I allowed room for some time variance,
 in previous msgs. However, what is documented is 12 years. His
 own words leave little room for much more than that.

 Who said anyone's service was superior? It wasn't his service in
 question, it was his retirement.

 Should I be impressed? He made O4. Or so he supposedly retired
 at. I suspect he made O3 and was forced to retire because he
 celebrated passover once too often.

 You make O3 by keeping your nose clean. O4 requires just a bit
 cleaner nose, and minimal accomplishment. That in 12 years.

 I made E5 in 4 years. That required work. Had I stayed in I
 would almost certainly made E6 in the next 4, and retired at
 least a Master Sgt, or even Sr or Chief MSGT. That's a hell of a
 lot more accomplishment than O3.
