| subject: | Netcomm Roadster worth buying? |
JW> Hi, JW> I bought a Netcomm Roadster 28.8 AM3451 a few months ago. From the first JW> time I plugged it in Win95 recognised it immediatly, installed the drivers JW> and now ALWAYS works like a dream, great connects rates and CPS. A huge JW> improvment over my old Maestro and Spirit 14.4/28.8 modems. And if people JW> as, I say get a Netcomm. On the other hand, you could save yourself a lot of money and buy a cheapo KTX clone-type modem which I have never had any trouble with either.... UNLIKE my old Netcomm 28.8 M11F which was a piece of junk. --- Maximus 3.01* Origin: Down South BBS (3:800/446) SEEN-BY: 50/99 620/243 623/630 625/100 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 899 SEEN-BY: 711/932 934 712/515 713/888 714/906 800/1 2 409 415 422 427 442 446 SEEN-BY: 800/448 449 451 453 456 805 806 810 812 816 822 843 846 850/100 @PATH: 800/446 409 1 711/808 934 |
