The story is, the team was named in honor of one of the early
players who was an American Indian. Could be, I don't know.

I don't follow baseball, so, if I did know it at one time I
didn't recall it.

There are enough who are American Indian to make it a valid
concern. After all, there aren't enough American Indians to be
the majority of much anything else,
