 Always remember one thing. The people who make such claims are
 people who did not need the programs, or people today who expect
 they will never need such programs.

 Just like economists who argue we are not in a recession are
 inevitably economists who are not out of work.

 As they say, a downturn is when the neighbor is out of work, a
 recession is when you are out of work, a depression is when I am
 out of work.

 Ok, I expanded that one a bit.

 Some years back a South American country had a serious
 recession. A lot of economists lost their jobs.
