Hello All,

 I have a question which is strictly speaking not entirely a modem problem,
but I am hoping that the modem echo can help me.

 I have a Spirit SMI 14400 modem which I use quite successfully with Win95
to access the Internet using Dial-Up-Networking, access BBSs with an
assortment of Win3.1/Win95 software but........

 I have an intermittent problem where the modem connects but I get a blank
screen.This is most noticeable with Hyperterminal both in its bare bones
state and the Hilgraeve update.
 
  I have an S3Trio 32/64 PCI video card which some people have suggested is
my problem, but the problem seems to be software dependant (?)

  What I would like is an easy answer to this problem, I quite liked the
updated version of Hyperterminal and would like to use it.

 Any ideas?
