Not only does it work, it still (in its OS/2 rendition) can do stuff that
other BBS systems have serious problems with.  Granted, some advances have
been made in some areas of BBS the interface, but Maximus _still_ holds its
own against many other systems.  It and it's companion Squish are solid,
well thought out works.
