Just joining your message base . Am a fairly new gardener from Hamilton 
Ontario and a brand new bbser. Am interested in growing an English style 
garden and herbs- possibly developing into some sort of home-based business. 
Am presently interested in pruning - especially climbing roses. I have one 
that is 3 years old and 6 feet high. Do I need to cut it back? or only if I 
want to change it's shape. I also have 7 brand new ones I don't know when to 
prune. Also other 3 year old flowering shrubs which are still pretty small. 
Any suggestions would be appreciated and also any responses from anyone with 
similar interests.
