subject: moving woes

Hi Jeannlou,

-> By the time you recieve this, i hope you are settled into your new
-> home and comfortable. Believe me, i know that when one makes a move,
-> there is always at least one more thing that 'must' be done. Even so,
-> please don't overdo. Being in the hospital is no way to get things done
-> at home.
Well we are just about "moved"... I have now been here for two nights...
by myself too! since Jerry works nights ... and I am comfortable
enough.
There remains sooo much unpacking to do... I only now am getting my system
up and going. The rest of the network is being worked on... hopefully I
will
make a bit of headway tonight. My phone lines are not in yet but will be
in
on the 21st... I can hardly wait!
There were only 2 "disasters" while moving so I figure that is not to
bad.
Both of them quite costly though... my cedar chest was smashed!!!! My
heart broke a bit with that one... but what really was broken was my front
tooth !!!! Very costly for that repair... I super gluded it
for
the night until I could find a dentist the yesterday... this puppy is going
to cost close to $900.00 for the repair!!!
Anyway I finially found some of my stamping supplies and have started
cuttin
paper so I can make my post cards so I can mail my new addy and phone
number
to all the important people in my life . That project is going to keep
me
busy for quite a while no doubt...
I also finally found some of the quilting projects I am working on... so
already I am feeling a bit better than I was yesterday when things were so
much more out of sorts.

-> I am recovering from a weekend of offering my handiwork to the SCA,
-> that portion of it that managed to find our booths. I will put
-> togeather one more game before we go North, but i am not planning any
-> other major craft projects, as the time is too short. Mostly i need to
-> get everything packed up before it is time to leave on the train trip,
-> as we will have only two full days to load and close down when we
-> return.

Jeannelou, you and Wayne are always packing and unpacking things! I don't
know how you do it!!! I know you love what you are doing and the places
you
are always going! Your retirement is what so many of us wish for...
... I am looking
forward
to hearing about your train trip!
  As always... have fun!!
Julia

-> Hang in there. Shalom, ll
