The universe is governed by a set of physical laws. I do not believe
that such laws simply evolved. I do believe there was a greater force
at work in the creation. I believe in the struggle between good and
evil and I believe that good will win over evil. I believe that it is
our job to combat evil wherever and however we can.

I believe in a Supreme being on both sides of the coin.

I also believe that as mortals we are arrogant in our overestimation
of our own intelligence. I believe we will go to extreme lengths to
convince ourselves of our justifications. We have the capacity to
imagine in in that imagination we have the ability to developed
intricate explanations for the things we cannot understand.

We are intelligent beings with opposable thumbs and self realization.
We need reassurances and we need motivations. We need a reason to get
out of bed in the morning and trudge through another day of
mediocrity. We need hope. Hope for a better life. Hope for a better
tomorrow. And we need hope that there is something to move on to after
this life. Without that, with the knowledge that this is all there is
or will ever be of us, this life we lead.... then why would anything
between birth and death matter?

Without these beliefs we would simply be anotyher animal species on
this planet with no greater purpose than eating, sleeping and
procreating.

So Yes. I believe in creation. And I believe that in His infinate
wisdom this physical world was made to evolve as time moved along. I
believe the laws of physics and nature had a devine origination.

And I wake up each morning and find another reason to go on through
another day.
