 The parents did not kill the child. The other kids did. The
 school might be more liable for not protecting the child and
 enforcing laws against murder.

 responsibility for protecting the children, even from each
 other. What a child wears to school should never be used to
 excuse murder.

 Here's an even more radical thought. Check your facts. The kid
 had been removed from his home and was a ward of the court. They
 could not control how he dressed, he was taken away.
