About 65km west of downtown Ottawa.  Ottawa is the closest
"significant" point of reference; Carleton Place is the 2nd.

Where I actually am is in Scotch Corners, a teeny little dot on the map
about 10km west of Carleton Place, where you'll find not a whole lot more
than cottagers, farms, and snow-less snowmobile trails.  :-)
