Nope, the computers can't read, therefore it WILL run, although
very slow on a lot of the processes, and uses a LARGE swap file.
See the below excerpt, regarding the operation of v1.2 on xt/at
class machines, which is what he is running. The ver 1.2 will run
quite well on a 286 with 1-2MB memory, and not miss a lick. V2
DOES require a more powerfull processor to take advantage of many
of the improvements, though it WILL run on a lesser machine, just
not real quick.

Great. Windows 3.1 _WILL_ run on a 286 with 1-2M too, but again,
NOT real well. The recomendation was to find a copy of v1.2,
since it should be real inexpensive, and will run quite well on
the class of machine he has, especially since he was looking to
use the AOL-GEOS interface. The rest, about the more powerful
machines, was just anecdotal.
