Well, yer doing better than I on the net...I usually only get around 1.0-1.5k 
download. But ya have to fighure too that on the net that you are giong 
through a good number of servers to download that. I know here at work 
downloading a test file we have, I can nail down  an 11k-11.5k transfer rate 
and about 8k-10k on nornal text files. I can  also get around 3.5k to about a 
top of 5k  (saw once) on exe and zip files.
