Admittedly, I've done both! ;^)
Actually, I've just this last week set up my first Opus system, v1.79. I
have been lurking here for a bit and thought it was time to say "Hi!"
"Hi!"
My initial problems are mostly with Opus utilities: A) both OPUS-FAM and
OFARE are asking for a .prm file called "opus.prm", don't find it, and halt
abnormally. I'm assuming NACL would generate it, but from what? B) from the
console, with .pkts in the inbound dir, I hit "M" to check stuff out. This
is fine, but when I want to quit to return to a "Wait for Call" state, the Q
command hits a loop and every second or so the message "No bundles." flashes
at the bottom of the screen. ^C gets me out eventually and then "Q" works,
but then Opus crashes about half the time with a fatal error. C) Is NEWOPUS
on the backbone? Couldn't find it.
Any ideas?
BTW, I'm *very* into the Opus "concept" (it's not often when one chuckles
occasionally while reading docs!).
I can be NetMailed at 105/240 (ZMH-only) for the time being; no echoes set up
yet (hence the point set-up).
