In the August issue of EQUUS Magazine there is a little artile about a
PET-LOSS HOT LINE.  This PetLoss Support Hot line is offered by the Tufts 
University School of Veterinary Medicine.
    The article goes on to say that it is available to all pet owners, the 
PetLoss Support Hot Line can be reached at (508) 839-7699.  It's open on 
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm.  Those who call at other times can leave a 
message on the hotline's answering machine;  calls are usually returned 
within 24 hours.
    This hot line is staffed by veterinary students trained in grief 
counseling ........
    I sure wish I would have found this number when "Baby" passed away.  I'm 
over the 'immediate' devastation but I still get teary eyed thinking about 
her now.
