Hullo!
I recently set up a litte event to call my ISP and grab my mail once a
day, and then import it into a Squish message base. Using Souper 1.5 and
Soup2Sq seemed to work fine, as long as I wasn't bringing in to much (I tried
bringing in a large newsgroup, and it froze Souper) So I switched to VSoup.
It solved that problem, but introduced a new one. Now when soup2sq imports
the messages, it puts them all into one big message, and doesn't convert the
email headers to squish headers, so my headers are all blank.
Obviously I don't like either solution, I'd much rather use Vsoup for
performance reasons, and the fact that it doesn't die from too much work.
But if it's importing improperly (or at sufficiently differently it confuses
soup2sq)
If any one out there is importing email into a squish message bases,
without using Souper, please let me know.
Alternatively, I could, if necessary use a *.MSG message base. But I
haven't come across any SOUP->MSG converters (for OS/2 that is) If one can
be suggested, that would be a tolerable compromise.
