Hi Everybody!
I'm taking advantage of the Olympic lull in my real estate business to get
reaquainted with some of the things in life that I enjoy.  Equus is one of
those things....as is riding my horses.
Atlanta is really a strange place now that the Olympics are here.  I haven't
ventured too far away from my home since it all began.  I've seen what all of
you have seen on television so far.  The equestrian events they have shown
have been production numbers, not events!!
I have tickets to the Grand Prix Special Individuals Dressage Finals on
July 31 and then the Freestyle Finals on August 3.  I'll let you know
how those go.  I know it will be REALLY hot!  We'll see what we can stand,
then leave.  I've been by the horse park, but never got inside prior to the
Olympics.  (I know, I needed to MAKE time for something that important!)
I can't wait to see what everything looks like!
I wanted to get tickets to a jumping event, but didn't get any.  I know that
there are tickets available here and there, but I think I'll just go to see
that which I have tickets to already and be happy about it.
Has anyone noticed that they aren't planning on televising any dressage
competitions?  Doesn't that stink?
