There is one radar that shows up here on occations. It comes
from an airbourne unit at JAXNAS in Jacksonville or Cecil Field
nearby Jacksonville. It operates near the 70cm band and is quite
strong. I only operate at 100mW to talk to N4SDI, Dennis Wren. At
times the radar covers me up and we are only 1 mile apart.
It's possible you may be experiencing the same there if there is
a Naval Air Station in Corpus Christy.
