I suppose that's better than nothing, and as long as it's not one of Rod's
messages (which can take several minutes to digest), the update should be
frequent enough for its purpose.  Anyway, it's only FS mode which is the
problem, as running windowed allows viewing of the system time and date in
another window.  DOS users would really love it though.

So does it replace an existing part of the display, or have you positioned
it somewhere else, where nothing is currently being displayed?  As I have
the "datearrived" function enabled, would it interfere with that?

You presumably mean in the header display area itsself, right?
