When my daughter became pregnant as a teenager I told my sister (a life
long conservative) that I must be the worst parent ever. She told me that
if I were the worst mother ever my daughter wouldn't have told me about the
pregnancy that she'd have just taken off alone. That Sarah and her family
has not shunned the girl shows the depth of their character.
