more importantly how long did you stay connected to the BBS. I can get a high
speed connect but it drops carrier with GSTN Cleardown after about 30 seconds.

I had a look at the board stats and for the past week there have been about one
in thirty connects over 21600 for longer than one minute. I don't even recall
one 28800 for longer than one minute. maybe that says something about his modem
or his lines.

I had to settle using the &Nx command to limit my logon speed to 21600 to get
any sort of consistent and reliable connects.

I mentioned in a previous message - it appears not all Dynalinks have this
problem with that BBS. The one at Dynalink tech support sure did though. Maybe
I've just got a dud.

Cheers
Mike
