Get this through your thick head. I am Talking about DTE Thruput. How many ¨Bloody time must I say that before it sinks in. I am NOT Talking about Phone ¨lines. I am NOT Talking about DCE Speed. My Friend has a 14400 Baud (DTE Thruput) Modem Why the Hell can't you accept that DCE is NOT the ONLY way to describe Data ¨Transfer. Try this one for size. When you Communication Program REPORTS 'Transfer Rate' Like 3300 CPS Is that DTE or DCE Thruput ? The FACT is that in communication Data Transfer Speeds DTE speed is ALWAYS ¨reported by the transfering software.
