 Don't know if that's true... but...

 Just told that was in the local paper. And that's one indicator
 of one being a psycopath.

 Quite a few years back there was a story in the local paper
 about a Marine who was stationed in Japan just after WWII. He
 was given kimonoes by a Japanese merchant for his parents, under
 condition that the Marine promised to bring him a picture of his
 parents wearing the kimonoes.

 When the Marine brought the merchant the picture the merchant
 admitted he just wanted to see for himself that the Marine's
 parents were still alive. They had been told a Marine had to
 kill his own parents to prove he was viscious enough to be a
 marine.
