DH}Hope this finds you back home safe 'n' sound with all your
DH}"booty"
DH}intact.
Got home at 930 thur. not a bad days drive.
DH}Just happened to think of a couple of things that I thought
DH}I'd make
DH}mention of.
DH}On the "Star Cobra"... when you get ready to fuel, it fuels
DH}from the
DH}right hand tank inboard side. (Standing behind aircraft, that
DH}right
DH}hand). That tank will fill and then it will feed through to
DH}the left
DH}hand tank.
I was going to fly it sun. and had some problems fueling it. We did get fuel
in it, but could not get it to run. High end was fine, when we came back to
idle it would die. I think it was getting air. I noticed fuel leaking around
the tank stoppers. I will redo and try again. I was going to call and ask
DH}The Hots does only have an 8 oz capacity though, so it's
DH}powered flight
DH}time is somewhat limited.
how you put fuel in that thing.
The hots will have a 12 oz this week. I flew it Sun. flight don't last to
long. I am going to see if there is a way to put two tanks in it and hook it
up like the jet. should give a bit more time. It is fun to fly.
DH}Only advice I have for the "Porsche" is be prepared when it
DH}leave the
DH}ground.
We flew the Porsche Sun. also. not a long flight, just took it off could not
keep it from climing, with all the trim to down and the stick almost all the
way to down. cut the throttle and landed, quite fast I mite say too. We will
do a bit of adj. to the trim on it and it will fly again.
All in All I had fun with everything this week. Sold the Mustang Sat. and
will more the likely sell some more this week.
Thanks for the tips, will see you on the echo.
