TA>Don't know about peppers; but Epson Salts (magnesium sulfate) has been
TA>used to markedly increase the settings of egg plant and many tomatoes.
TA>I use about 1cup to a gallon of water applied when seedings are set out
TA>and again when they blossom.
1 cup? A whole cup, Ack? I use a teaspoon per quart and spray it on
when the seedlings blossom -if I bother at all.
TA>Some lay it to the trace of magnesium and others the sulfate added to
TA>the soil. I suspect its a bit of both and count all blessings.
Dick Raymond claims it's the extra magnesium that ensures the blossoms
set and produce fruit, rather than fall off. (And I think the weather
has an awful lot to do with that as well. :-))
