Actually according to my emails which i have here i did reply
about 3-4 times. Matter of fact I have tried several
more times since then. Your still in the nodelist here.
Was when applied so long ago. Folks in my net can atest to
the lengths I try to find people but they never contact me :<
I frequently post in my sysop echo a list of nodes that hav
egone AWOL and with full details of contact including dates
and such. So its public info. Sadly I tend to have anywhere
from 14-24 nodes who just go awol for a few months or for
even longer and never say anything or just die and never
     reply.

So its not that I haven't or didn't want to reply adn contac
tfolks but i have. I can only try so much :)

Just looked at my emailer looks like last tried to send email
to ya 1/31/03. I didn't look in them to see what was talked
about but looks liek it was then. To a skynet{at}... address.

I assumed that is your addy since I keep so many emails (hardly
never delete anything but actual spam for such cases) since
the early '90s :). Seems according to the bbs notes last
offical network post with you on the link report was Aug 17 2002.

Guess after that I gave up.

Not that I've never lost or anything always active in the echos :)
Easy to find me...but folks rarely do. Right now I got like 3
ftp folks who have yet to contact me as to what they are up to
since we changed ftp sites. I tried to contact them but no
     replies.

At any rate I carry on. If you want to get hooked up let
me know and I can do it. Just shoot off a email to

longshot{at}darktech.org since after tonight (midnight) I'll
not read mail for a week or two again :)

Glad you got me started though I need to post another link
report and see who is still AWOL out there. I'm the only
net I know that actually does stuff like that. Most tend
to just keep dead nodes in their nodelist for a decade or
more just to fluff up their nodelists :)

... A few more like you, Vir & The Republic will efficient itself to death
