Thank you for your reply. I have decided to leave well enough alone
on the internal wiring on my amp. I am changing the binding posts over as
they had begun to rust and were just nasty looking in general.
I am playing with the idea of running a rear sub in preparation for
DVD, etc. The powered sub module that I have has high and low level inputs as
well as rear channel speaker outputs. The cable run would be just over 11
meters in length. Would I be better off using well insulated, balance
(twisted pair) cables like the Monster 200s or make the run with a good
speaker cable?
Also, is it better to just run the rear channels straight from their
amp and run the sub by itself, or run the subs from the rear channel binding
posts off the rear subwoofer? I am not sure how much signal loss I might
experience at 11 meters.
Cheers, John
