It sure cannot compete in the 5000 EUR+ region, but a very nice radio for the

I actually bought it at a local ICOM shop ;)
He did everything to convince me of the IC-7300.
Which BTW is a nice radio (has SDR waterfall and USB for remote control and
RTTY etc.) but it costs more then twice ...

I was not willing to pay 1300 EUR for something that I will not use that often,
and where I will seldom use the additional features.
