Replying to a message of Dave Drum to Bob Ackley: DD> -=> Bob Ackley wrote to DAVE DRUM <=- RS>>> From what I've read so far, these are real far-right RS>>> nutcases who stumble around in the woods with guns so as RS>>> to RS>>> be ready to fight against "the AntiChrist's soldiers." DD>> You forget that they were planning to use explosives, and DD>> probably machine guns of some sort - which ARE regulated by DD>> the Feds. DD>> Code of Federal Regulations - Title 27: Alcohol, Tobacco DD>> Products and Firearms http://tinyurl.com/TITLE-27a and DD>> http://tinyurl.com/TITLE-27b BA>> There's no support in the Constitution for the entire Code BA>> of Federal Regulations, every single one of them is BA>> unConstitutional. DD> I believe that the US Supreme Court says differently. In point of fact federal judges up to and including the Supreme Court, have been selected for their political ideologies, not for any legal, judicial or Constitutional expertise, since at least Roosevelt minor's administration. DD> Just because something is not specifically permitted by the DD> framework document does not automatically mean that it is DD> unconstitutional, Bob. Uh, yes it does. Those powers not specifically granted to the national government are reserved to the states or to the people. Not some powers, ALL powers. If the Constitution doesn't say the national government can do something, it cannot (Constitutionally) assume that it has the power to do so; the fact that it does exactly that is the fault of the courts and, ultimately, the people. ---* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 10/1 11/200 331 14/400 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 140/1 226/0 SEEN-BY: 236/150 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 SEEN-BY: 2222/700 2320/100 105 5030/1256 @PATH: 300/3 116/901 3634/12 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
