In addition, hotels aren't always that good at handling large
numbers of reservations. I spent the better part of a day prior to
the 1985 convention in Louisville typing in reservations from
small slips of paper into a computer so that comprehensive lists
could be made and analysis of the reservations done because the
hotel was not able to straighten things out.
