LT> The whistles, which use the wind to make a whistling sound that most
LT>animals can hear but we can't, fit right on the front bumper. I can hear
LT>them whistle, just faintly, but I have odd scar tissue on my ear drums
hat
LT>lets me hear such things.
Gee Linda, maybe we're clones. I had a ruptured eardrum as a baby from
infections, then it was ruptured again as a teen. I have extremely
sensitive ears, although my hearing isn't that keen. Some weird sounds
grate on me.
Most people never know they're there unless they
LT>remember they're there. Deer hear the whistles, though, as do most other
LT>animals. I've only hit one raccoon, and that was because he decided to
LT>play chicken with me. He lost, and I felt terrible.
Some accidents are unavoidable. You've done your best; so don't worry
about it. :-)
I just received this message today (June 6th). Don't know what's
going on upline, but my mail has been very sporadic lately. Hope it
settles down soon. Hope my sysop quits making -I'm-getting-fed-up-
with-BBS'ing- and-spending- $30- per- month noises. :-(
