Just cinnamon.  It often does happen that a small percentage of folks who
work in factories processing spices can develop allergies to said spice(s).
 But we don't know where Elizabeth's allergy came from.  Kicked in when she
was about 15 (puberty being the bitch it is, sometimes).  Weird.
