No he doesn't. He has a 14400bps modem. The two are not the same and if you
misuse either term it doesn't look particularly impressive. Actually there
was an interesting discussion here (or zone3_tech?) about the fact that
RS232 is NRZ, so therefore doesn't have a "baud rate" per se
possibly.
