Try >cold pressing instead. Sounds reasonable and yet I will expect that if hot pressed mirror-tool assembly is left to cool down, pitch will "follow" the glass contracting curve. If purpose of hot pressing is to speed up pitch reshaping than this advantage may be lost or diminished by waiting for assembly to cool down.
