Ooooo, that bad? I know that Asians eat the nuts inside; so maybe
they ARE rotting manure by the time you encounter them. But the
female tree is valuable for producing MORE little ginkgos. :-)

I broke down and ordered 2 seedling trees from Richter's @ $4 each,
plus shipping and taxes. I don't know if they'll be sexed. (Do you
hold the seedling upside down and look at its roots, like sexing a
chick? :-)) Just kidding. I'll take whatever I can get, since it's the
leaves that are used in most formulas. (My brain needs all the help it
can get, even if I have to graze the tree daily. )
Thanks for the invite, but Virginia in August is too hot for me. :-)
