I used to have a couple laptops but they ended up going to people who
probably appreciated them more then I did.  As far as pc's I have two
working ones and quite a few, some of them oddball ones that are not really

Right.  If just routing/masqureading/firewalling then it doesn't really
need much in the way of disk space and/or ram.
