I didn't say there were only 10 laws. The 10 Commandments are highlighted
in the OT because that is what Moses (Moshe) delivered to the Israelites
after finding them to have rebelled against God and worshiping graven
images (the golden calf). The rest of the 613 laws were delivered as the
Israelites were wandering in the wilderness. In fact, the very reason they
wandered in the wilderness was to wipe out the generation that rebelled
before they took possession of the promised land.

From the LDS Articles of Faith:

"8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated
   correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God."

Notice the "as far as it is translated correctly" part.
