Ah, yeah, I know that... My blog was once featured on Slashdot... had a
nice impact, but not as high as I feared.

Believe it or not... while I haveīt had any modem in decades, I now do own
at least 4 of them. Because I think it is important to have alternative
communication possibilities and not only rely on the Internet. Sadly, over
here in Germany all phones lines are now running on IP as well, so thatīs
something I cannot control myself, but in fact I have everything here to be
able to communicate without IP connectivity. (at least for land side
connections, maybe I try to find something that works over the air as
well).
