SL> You don't (or at least not without a bunch of work on your part)
SL> ;-) Qedit is a "text editor" as opposed to a "word processor"
SL> and as such it is designed to work with "pure text" which it
SL> doesn't format in any way other than allowing you to tell it to
SL> wrap text and have "sticky indents" and a few other
SL> convenienence features. Since it has no settings for printer
SL> support it has no knowledge of things like page length for a
SL> printer etc. If you wish to force a page break to appear in a
SL> document at a specific point you can always insert a "form feed"
SL> character by holding down the "Alt" key and typing "12" on the
SL> numeric keypad which will insert the ASCII code for a form feed
SL> in the document (looks like a small circle on top of a "+" sign.
SL> Qedit also has an extensive macro language available to you and
SL> I expect you could write a macro to start at the top of the file
SL> and walk through it marking every 60 (or whatever) lines witha
SL> demarkation line like you would like to see to show where
SL> "natural page breaks" would occur. Of course you'd probably need
SL> to extend the idea to have the macro clean out old marker lines
SL> and start fresh each time you ran it and since the marker lines
SL> would be in your file you'd need another macro to remove them
SL> before printing the file ;-)
Easier to by Qedits "big brother" TSE professionell 2.5 there fairly good
printing control and reformating macro is implemented.
