Greetings, Shoshona:
        You asked,
|Shalom, Brother... I just wanted to check with you on your Fresh Manna
|posts and make sure you are willing to discuss the things you post --
|just in case someone has a question or is looking to further discuss
|the subject or material you have posted -- are you willing?
        Absolutely!
We would see this as just basic courtesy, part of taking
part in any echo or conference. In the Fidonet Roman Catholic
echo, for example, this is actually a pre-requisite for posting
any of this type of material.
If anyone writes to us, wishing to discuss something, we
are available. However, if echo members discuss somethng we've
posted, among themselves, we don't interfere.
The function of Fresh Manna is to provide a "one-page
encouraging meditation on Scripture". The function of Bible Study
Questions is to provide small group leaders, families or individuals
with enough material to generate 30-45 minutes' discussion.

        Thank you!
|For the record, I do prefer your smaller, "byte-sized" (computer humor),
|devotionals much better than those huge posts -- they are better suited
|to the public forum of an echo (those long posts were better suited to
|be text files)... Anyway, thank you for understanding... G-d Bless!
We don't personally object to multi-part posts, where
moderators permit them, but then we don't read them, either! In
one echo where long posts are welcome, we did post a request one
time, asking authors of multi-part postings to make the first
part, an executive summary, or synopsis, or abstract, so we could
determine quickly whether we'd want to download the whole thing or
not. Nothing was said, but I did notice one multi-post soon after
that did begin with a synopsis of the author's argument. |-)}+
