You have S/N ratios as low as 31db and Telstra still reckon your line is
OK?  They obviously have no idea what they're talking about.  Unless you're
seeing 38db or better, you won't be getting any 33600 connects, regardless
of the modem in use.  As I said before, your lines are definitely dodgy.
