I just use a heater.  Also have extra blankets on the bed which keeps me toasty
warm when I go to sleep.

I never used it as there is absolutely no need for emsi since about 1997-ish
when there were still a few dialup nodes in the local area.  Back then I used
binkleyterm to exchange pkts but had to abandon it when I became the only
Fidonet node on Vancouver Island.
