On 10-09-08, BOB KLAHN said to ROSS SAUER: JH>> Q: What do Obama and Osama have in common? JH>> A: They both have unrepentant terrorist friends who bombed the JH>> Pentagon. RS> And Ayers gave up his violence. Thats like saying John Wayne Gacy `gave up his violence'. BK>Ayers never bombed anybody. And he never killed anybody. Thats like saying a member of the James\Younger gang never robbed anybody... never killed anybody....he just held the horses! BK>Anyone who actually read the article knows this. Ayers got involved in the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society). It was Ayers who steered the group toward militancy. Ayers was a large part of the group that became known as `The Weathermen', and Ayers became a prominent member of that group. It was Ayers who steered the group more and more toward violence. In 1969 Ayers participated in planting a bomb at a statue dedicated to the Haymaker Riot police casualties of 1886. When the statue was rebuilt, it was blown up again by the same group. It was determined that Ayers, along with Bernadine Dohrn, had the most authority in the group. In 1970, some of Ayer's close friends and associates saved the taxpayers any further public expenditures due to their illegal activities, by blowing themselves up with a bomb they were assembling. A bomb, I might add, that was loaded with various sorts of shrapnel designed to maim and kill innocents. (Talk about `poetic justice'!) Unfortunately.....Ayers and Dohrn were not among the victims. Ayers participated in the bombings of: New York City police headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol Building in 1971, the Pentagon in 1972. Ayers has noted all this in his 2001 book, Fugitive Days. Yeah..........Ayers never bombed anybody.....he never killed anybody... He just `held the horses'. --- *Durango b301 #PE** Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 18/200 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2320/200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
