My lecture notes from last semester would seem to agree with you. :-) But isn't
RS232 -12V for a 1, +12 for a 0? The lecture notes certainly show 0 being a
high compared to 1 being a low, but they aren't RS232 specific, and I can't
be bothered grabbing a text book.
