Incredibly expensive. The $120 will include a new datapump and a new ROM.
(Older V.34 modems might need the new datapump too, so they should be the
higher price too). eg Supra are selling the new datapump for $40 US
(<<$120AUS), and they have flash ROMs so no new ROM chip needed.
