Hi Taz,

Linux definitely takes some time to grasp, but it's fun and IMO very exciting!
For me the excitement of working with computers was experimenting, playing, and
getting into the guts of the computer. I miss the days of peeks and pokes, and
Linux gives me that same experience and feeling that my first TRS-80 did back in
the 80s. Also my first experience with the Internet was via Unix command line,
so I still feel so much at home using Linux. Honestly if computers were all
like Windows back when I started working with'em, I'd probably not have picked
it up as a hobby.

But stick with it and post your msgs or questions here. Also irc.freenode.net
is a great place to stop. Either hangout in the channel of your distro of
choice or #linux or #linuxhelp.

Take care --

Sam
