Vallejo is right across the river from where I live... well... and a little 
bit west of here too.   I live on the south side of the Sacramento River 
Delta, and Vallejo is on the north side.  It is a nice place to live, IMO.. 
)
It seems like /lots/ of people have been through Vallejo because of the 
military base there (which recently shut down).  Vallejo is at the end of the 
river, right where it empties into the SF Bay.
