RH> I bought a bunch of different colors last year when
 RH> our House of Fabrics

If I ever see a deal on them, I'd proably do the same thing.

RH> Remember the old Alka-Seltzer ads, "try it, you'll
 RH> like it?" Same thing
RH> holds here, try using cone thread, you'll like the convenience.

I'm hoping to. Just gotta get to the store.

RH> Most likely. Do you have your machine in a permanent set up? If so,

Yes, I do. Kind of. Not sure, but probably will keep it the way it is.
I've got a crafting room all to myself, and still haven't really organized
it. (It's been 3 years now)

RH> Shelley Rodgers posted several years ago about how she just screwed a
RH> cup hook into the wall and ran the thread thru that as an adapter.

I thought about that, but someone else told me that it didn't work that
well.

RH> I know. As long as I've been sewing, I learned a lot on here and S&Q,
RH> especially before I bought my serger.

That's hopefully my next big purchase..a serger. But I still can't
quite justify the cost to myself.

RH> Yes, especially when you're "that" close to being done and run out of
RH> thread on the bobbin. I hate to wind a bobbin for 6" of sewing.

What? Were you watching me? That's exactly what happened to me, and boy
was I frustrated.

 Talk to you later.
