This is one of the things people are doing to combat the drought around
here. We have retrofitted a couple of houses to have the gray water
separated from the black water. Believe it or not this is one area where
the GC and the plumbing sub have to educate code enforcement. One client 
wanted to put in a 6500 gal above ground tank system to catch, filter,  and
store rain water for the garden, and yard.
Code and health initially balked.

I find historic restoration satisfying. I must admit I do get satisfaction
when some one thinks a repair/replacement, I made looks exactly like the
